The Nike Golf Air Max 90's, an instant favorite if you are into the classic Nike shoe look. This shoe initially launched in July 2016. Our shoe reviews will be based on three criteria on a scale of 1-10 (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest). We remain impartial to all brands and will show no favoritism to any brand whatsoever.
If you are into the classic's & a throw back to the 90's shoe, then this shoe is right up your alley. Available in multiple color ways, in this case another timeless look in the White & Black. These are the type of shoes you wear to and from the golf course, making the transition with no issues at all. If you are looking for a more traditional golf shoe these might not be the shoes for you & that's okay. This shoe was given the rating of 8.8 out of 10 in the looks department. Look good, feel good, play good.
From the moment you slide your feet into the Nike Air Max 90's golf shoe you shouldn't be completely surprised from the fit, so long as you have the correct size. Recently we have found that Nike golf shoes in particular have been fitting a 1/2 size small so if you are a size 10 1/2 shoe normally you might want to try out a size 10 instead. Foot size to the side, this shoes it is a solid one piece construction so you can just slide your foot inside, no need to adjust the tongue. Nike had integrated its Zoom cushioning for added comfort which can be felt as soon as you put on the shoe, with its simple lacing system it applies even pressure from the bottom of the foot all the way up to the top. If you are the type of golfer that walks the course you should find yourself and your feet remaining surprisingly comfortable. Comfort wise we award this shoe a ranking of 7.5 out of 10.
The Nike Golf Air Max 90's shoe is in the spike-less golf shoe category. Nike golf shoes over the last 5 years have really improved in their designs. Going away from the traditional "spiked" shoe base, they have adapted new technology that was first put in place with the Nike Lunar Control Vapor (Nike Articulated Integrated Traction). The Nike Air Max 90's have a versatile rubber out-sole, with Nike Integrated Traction that plays as good in the fairways as it does in the rough and bunkers. It feels as though your feet dig into the ground giving you the proper traction you need when you are taking a full swing, and will leave you with no worries if you have a tendency for your back foot to slip out on you during your swing. We have yet to give this shoe the "weatherproof" test, but from doing research, it has been much improved. Now, this is technology from 2016 and shoes have come along way since then, so keep that in mind if you're interested in these shoes. We give this shoe the Play-ability rating of an 8.2/10.
